When I open Sherlock, I get the following message:
Make sure you are still connected to the Internet and try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator or Internet service provider.

Sherlock will not display any information in the Movies channel, but works pretty well in the other channels. The Movies channel is the one I'd use the most!!
I am running an iMac G3 350 mhz 320 MB RAM with OS X 10.2.8 installed.
Hi Justin
Apple seems to have been letting Sherlock slide downhill for the past couple years.
100's of posts about these problems on Apple's boards.
The Movie channel is the biggest complaint.
You can try the following to see if it helps, but error -1000 usually means the server can't be reached.
Assuming you have an active Internet connection and the servers that provide content are running, most Sherlock issues can be resolved by resetting Sherlock, as follows:
1. Quit (Command-Q) Sherlock if it is open.
2. In your Home > Library Preferences folder, trash the following:
- The com.apple.Sherlock.plist file. This is Sherlock's preferences.
- The Sherlock folder. This folder contains channel-specific preferences.
3. In your Home > Library > Caches folder, trash the Sherlock folder. This is Sherlock's cache.
4. Empty the Trash.
5. Launch Sherlock.
