This issue is with my older mac special edition (green) i book--using OS 10.3.9--after an update issued just previous to the Feb 15 updates i have found that if I try to view a Quicktime video clip from a web site using opera web browser that the video will just start to play & then the web browser shuts down--I did have flip4mac installed--I thought it may have been some problem with this app--I removed it--it will now play the windows media fine but still not the quicktime vids. Any help would be appreciated----------------Mike.

I never had this problem until i upgraded to the current version of qicktime--i was trying to find the preceding version--i believe 7.0.4??--on the quicktime web site--whenever i try to go to this web site , it shuts off the safari browser--is there anywhere i can go to download the older version????

I would be better off waiting for your response because i am sinking deeper into the muck all the time-------------------------mike.
