is "Nero" software compatiable with Mac PantherX?

Do you mean the CD/DVD burning PC application...? It's Windows (and Linux) only.

Running it in emulation mode on Virtual PC on a Mac is not a good idea.

Hi again - I'm always careful about stating that anything is "compatible" ;-)

However, I DO recommend Toast by Roxio (www.roxio.com) for both basic and advanced CD/DVD burning on a Mac.
