I get pictures and other fun downloads from friends and I do not have the software to read them. What do I need?? Many of my freinds have PC's is that why there is a problem?? I have pagemaker but that only works 1 out of 30 times. thanks

Hi Sharon and welcome to No Wonder!
The majority of stuff you receive probably only works on PCs because they are programs.
Images and text documents will open okay on a mac, but you may need a program that can open a wide range of image formats like GraphicConverter, download from here http://www.lemkesoft.de
