Description:
I just bought FrontPage 1.0 and discovered that I don't have any image creating and editing software with it like my PC budies do with FrontPage 98.
I don't need much, just something to create buttons with text in them, etc. I don't want to go to the expense of a full blown graphics program (Illustrator, FreeHand) but I do need something to spiff up an otherwise boring Web page.
Suggestions??

There are several shareware image editing and paint programs that can do the job (though not as well as Adobe Photoshop!)
Do a search at
www.shareware.com,
www.download.com,
www.tucows.com and other Mac shareware/freeware archives.
For quick image editing, try Graphic Converter. You can apply text to graphics with this program.
Another good image creating/editing program is ZD Mac's "The Cheaper Image v1.5" that accepts many Photoshop plug-ins. You can also make buttons with it.
You can download it from:
http://www.zdnet.com/mac/
in the Macdownload section.
