Can I, in anyway use the software update enabler to update my system locally from a folder( All current updates in folder ) on my own machine?
I know it will need to find a port, but is there not a way of setting it up loacally?

I'm not sure what you are asking....
Do you want to install the updates, even if you are not connected to the internet at that time? Just download the updates that you need from the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/
Move those updates to a convenient folder, or copy to a USB flash drive, or where-ever you will be able to use them easily. Install when you want to.

What is your question about a port?
