i have the Sony phone listed above and it is supposed to be able to download music. i would like to be able to use my itunes library but for some reason the mac will not recognize my phone
i can get it to say there is a phone card when i try to export from the itunes library but it only has XML format obliviously not what i need please help i have tried Sony support, apple support, forum after forum, and no one can seem to help. i am trying to connect via usb. thanks for any help, completely frustrated!

I suppose you could move the songs to some software that can transfer those songs to your phone. iTunes won't do that directly.

ok thanks so far you have been more help than anyone! i got as far as saving the script but i am having trouble as to where to save it you stated clearly but it is not giving me that option only the home file direct and i cant get to the itunes folder. also i started up itunes and i cant seem to find the script icon??? maybe i am not quite sure what the menu bar is? i dont know. i am sorry i am so lost but could you please overlook my stupidity and try to continue to help me

I don't know anything about that article or how to make it work. It was the only information that I could find that was somehow related to what you want to do.

Menubar is at the top of your screen.
The AppleScript Utility has a preference option to put the script menu in the menubar. You'll have to experiment with that.

You may find that this is all easier if you boot to Windows, and run the Windows app that Sony recommends. iTunes is not really designed for use with devices other than iPods.
