TICKET ARCHIVE -> Sound problem

Description:
Whenever I enter a site that has sound, after 4 or 5 seconds, the screen freezes. The cursor flashes on and off intermittently with cursor clock.
I can do nothing but force quit. It also does this during chat when I have sound turned on.

Please tell me what I should do.

How fast is your modem?
Try using a Memory enhancer (RAM Doubler 2.x).
Increase your browser's Preferred Memory allocation.
Also, if you are using an older browser, try using a more recent version of Netscape Navigator.

I had the same problem with sound when using a 14.4 modem and an older browser version. The problem went away when I upgraded to a 33.6 modem.
