RAM: 65+
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: System 7.6.1
Description:
I just wanted to know why the icons that appear during startup overlap one another? Prior to upgrading to OS 7.6.1, the icons loaded from left to right - bottom to top, as usual, row after row, one per location. Now, when the icons are loading the first row fills properly, then some of the icons on the second row drop down to the first row and overlap other icons leaving spaces in the second row.
Is this normal? OK? Why is it doing that? Any thoughts?

Dear Robert Pettigrew,
While it might look unsightly there is no detrimental effect to icons dropping down and overlapping as you describe is happening.
However, if you want to really see something cool, download a demo of Conflict Catcher 4.1.1 from
. This should not only tidy up the icons, but it will also give each icon a name, so you will know what each loading icon represents.
Best regards,
