I just installed O.S. 8.5, and now I can't print anything. My Stylewriter has no model number on it, but I bought it around 1991 with my original Mac Classic II.

Hi welcome to Nowonder
Will give you a couple of things to try. Go into your Apple Talk and set it to remote only. Then go to chooser and select printer and restart. If this don't work. Then go into you extension manager and uncheck desktop print monitor and desktop print spooler and if you have it QuickDraw GX (Do the QuickDraw GX first and restart). Last if none of the above works go in and remove the old stylewriter software then reinstall it. You can also go to the http://www.info.apple.com site and download a driver for the Stylewriter just pick the plain stylewriter driver. Once at the Apple site you need to go to software upgrade and type in printers in the search mode. Best regards sharona@nowonder
