Hello there,
Im new to mac, I have My desktop, and planing to get a MAC-BOOK For school.
What I would like to know, is there a way to sync ICAL on both MACS?

IE: I enter a date on my Laptop, and it automaticlly appears on my desktop, or vice-versa?

If This Can Be done, how do i do it, and will i need extra software?

Thanks

There is a quick and easy solution to this:

MySync. MySync is a independantally developed application that will synchronize many things between your two Macs.

For more information on what it does, go to:
http://www.mildmanneredindustries.com/mysync/

You just download the application and install it on both computers.
You can even set up the MacBook to sync with the desktop when you're not on the same local network, but that takes a little more work. The following link will show you how. If you need any clarification, go ahead and ask.

Also, you'll have to choose which computer will be master, and which will be slave. The one that you use more should be the master.

You can use .Mac, a web-tool of sorts. You can use iSync to synchronize many things to yoru .Mac iDisk, and then sync that with the other computer. .Mac, however, costs $99 annually.
