I'm having a problem again syncing my Mac address book with my Sony Ericsson k700i. Here's the issue:
1.) I open the sync program and select my cell phone devise for syncing.
2.) The computer and the cell phone recognize each other, and the process begins.
3.) But just thereafter, I get a window telling me that the session has failed. Here's the text of that message:
[K700i] There was an error getting data from the phone. The synchronization may have been cancelled on the phone.
Device "K700i" synchronization failed
4.) I've tried deleting and adding the device, but so far this had not solved the problem.
What can I do to complete this syncing of my Mac address book with my cell phone?
I'm using system 10.4.6 and my Bluetooth is built-in.
Many thanks,
Andres
Hi Andres,
Here is a link at Apple that might be helpful:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301039
One other thing you might try is this. Find this file:
com.apple.bluetooth.plist MacintishHD>Users>Library>Preferences
Locate the file, drag it to the Trash, then empty the Trash. Reboot your Mac and try iSync.
Also, since the Sony Ericsson k700i is compatible with Macs you might want to call Sony and see if they can help.
Carolyn :-)
