TangentIdea ,

Okay, so I have done all of the following as suggested by Help on Address Book:

>>Synchronizing Address Book with a Palm device
You can add contacts from your address book to your Palm device using iSync and HotSync. Before you can sync your Palm OS device and computer, you need to install the iSync Palm Conduit 1.2 software. To download a copy, visit www.apple.com/isync. <<

And then the Help comment says:

>>Once you have the software installed, you need to add your Palm OS device to iSync. You need to do this only once.<<

That floors me. I have no idea how to do what they suggest there, Add my Palm OS "device" to iSync?!? Huh?

Help!

First thing you need is Palm Desktop. That should've come with your palm. But it can be downloaded here: http://www.palm.com/us/macintosh/

Next step is dependent on what version of Mac OS X you have:

~~If you have a version prior to tiger you must download the palm conduit from here: http://www.apple.com/support/downloa...lmconduit.html

~~If you have tiger please read this article:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302120

Hope this helps,

Brian,

All went well on the site you gave me (above) until I reached:

>>In the Conduit Settings window, double-click the iSync Conduit, then select the "Enable iSync for this Palm device" checkbox. This allows iSync to synchronize with your Palm Address Book, Date Book, and To Do information.<<

The Conduit Settings window I get does not have the iSync Conduit mentioned to double click on.

Can you help?

Make sure you did the following:

• select the option to Enable Palm OS Syncing… from the Devices menu
• follow the instructions which appear in the dialog box
