i was wondering how i can take my password off my workspace. i am an 'administrator'. i have tried through users etc but cant figure it out. i changed my password to nothing (no password) but it still asks for it. i need to take it off because when it starts automatically to record my tv shows on eyeTV, it asks for the password, then goes back to sleep if not touched. therefore it only records 30 seconds or so of TV.

thanks

When does the password screen come up?

If this is your Login screen, you can set your Mac to login automatically. Use your System Preferences/Accounts pane. Click on Login Options. and change the Automatically log in - to your user. You may have to click the little padlock to make any changes.
If the password screen comes up when eyeTV launches, then you will need to check for settings in eyeTV for that.
