Knowledge Level: Expert but stumped

Problem: Software
Computer Type: Microsoft Word 98
Model: Apple hardware all ppc's
RAM: Not related
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: Not related

Description:
Is there any way to get Word 98 to change the way it formats superscripts and subscipts automatically? We would like the font size of the superscripts to automatically be a couple of points larger--we thought we would be able to customize the font appropriately.

Thanks for your time,
Chuck Coe

Chuck-
Thanks for using No Wonder! I don't believe there is a way to change Word's default superscripting behavior. I could be wrong; the folks who could tell you are of course Microsoft tech support; support for Word98 is free other than the toll charges for the call. If you don't have the manual handy, call Redmond WA information and get MS's main #; ask them for the Mac Word tech support #.

There is a workaround, however. You could try using Styles rather than vanilla superscripting, and set your desired style to be not only superscript but perhaps 4 pts or so larger font size. This would have the effect you're looking for. To do this, use the 'Format...Style' command.

Hope this helps! If not, don't hesitate to write me back.
