Description:
My brother sent me pictures of his newest child. I downloaded the file to the desktop. When I tried to open the file, I am told "the file is too large for SimpleText to open." What can I do now? I am sure he sent this from an IBM machine. I have ClarisWorks on my G-3. Otherwise I don't have much software that didn't come with my machine.

Hi Deborah and welcome to No Wonder!

Download the program called GraphicConverter from here
http://www.lemkesoft.de

and try and open the image using it.
