I have a DVD Burning question. when i used Popcorn and try to burn a dvd it tells me i can't because i don't have room in the Temp Disk Space cache (you need about 5-10G to play around with). It tells you to go into Prefs and change the source which gives you the Mac HD ("4.5G free", it says) option and Default: i've tried both and they aren't enough. However, my Ibook G4 is brand spankin' new: plenty o disk space--a lot more than 4.5G!
**the question is, how can i utilize this space and it's weird association to it's Temporary disk space counterpart so i can burn some disks?**

It seems that the problem is not with the computer, but with popcorn. Did you purchase popcorn? or did it come with the computer? Please respond as soon as possible so we can try and work this out as fast as possible so you can start burning some discs.

I would suggest using Toast Lite(19.99, toast.com) instead of roxio. It seems that the problem is with the recognition software that comes with popcorn. I'll place this ticket back in the pool, hang in there.
