"This Computer does not support video conferencing" during iChat launch.

Had it working yesterday, but just got this error when trying to use video in iChat. I'm on a MacBook Pro. iPhoto works, green light on the light next to the video camera, etc....

That message comes up when you may not have sufficient network bandwidth for video conferencing.

Try the possible solution in this thread - http://beaudesigns.net/archives/2007...with_ichat/#c8

Also, I found a note that if you have internet sharing turned on, you may not be able to start a video conference. Make sure that your internet sharing is turned off before you launch iChat.

Go under the video menu in iChat, and check the Connection Doctor, then to Capabilities. That could give you a clue about your limitations.
