TICKET ARCHIVE -> Toast Titanium Result Code = -5000 ???

Hi,
I'm running a Mac OS X version 10.5.1
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

I have Roxio's Toast Titanium 7 (Version 7.0.2) & 8 (Version 8.0) When i try and burn .avi files to a dvd on either program i get the same message: "Could not record the disc because you dont have the required access permission- Result Code = -5000"

I have had no trouble burning discs in the past.
Any idea what this means?

Hello Chris

Thanks for using macosx.com and I will do my best to help you here.

For compatability you need to update to Toast versions 7.1.3 and 8.0.3
updates can be downloaded from Roxio's web pages

whilst not as "slick" as Toast it does all the business adequately...

hi,
i have 2 user profiles on my mac.
i can use toast titanium with no problems with 1 profile but when i use the 2nd profile thats when i receive the message about not having the right permissions.
i have checked to make sure that in the sharing and permission area of "get info" it is read& write for every option.
i have updated and still receive the same message.
i tried simply burns but it wont burn .avi's
thanks anyway. it looks like a good little program.
