Description:
I want to get Intuit's QuickBooks for the Mac. Currently I have the program for the PC, which I use to make a 1.4MB disk to give my accounting firm for use on their IBM compatible PCs. I would prefer doing all my work on the Mac.
Can I use QuickBooks for the Mac and make a floppy disk on the Mac that I can give to my PC-only accounting firm for their use? What software should I use to make reliable translations that will not give the PC users any problems?
Thank you for any help!

Tom,
The Windows version of Quickbooks can import data from the Mac versions of both Quicken and Quickbooks. See this URL for details:

Intuit no longer offers a free Demo of the Mac version, but they do offer a 90-day money back guarantee if you order it from their online store:

You also will want to check out this page on their site, as it has information about potential Y2K issues for QB4 for Mac. Intuit has committed to fixing any identified issues, but you should still be forewarned.
