Knowledge Level: I'm New!
Problem: Combination
Computer Type: Apple
Model: Powerbook 1440cs/133
RAM: 16meg
RAM Enhancer: Virtual Memory
OS Version: System 7.6.1

Description:
While using Quicken for PC banking, the application quits and I get a type 2 error message. At the time, I'm trying to download a statement from a Quicken credit card account. Also, the Powerbook shut down, and when I tried to restart an icon of a disk with a question mark appeared. I unplugged the printer and battery adapter and restarted. This seemed to work, but what can I do to avoid this problem again? Thank you very much for your help.

sounds like you need to increase the RAM partition on Quicken. Open the Quicken folder. find the quicken application and click on it ONCE so that it becomes highlighted. Go up to File and drag down to Get Info. A window will open. In the bottom right of the window you will see 3 boxes. go to the Preferred Size box and highlight the number in the box and then retype it @ 2x the original amount (if it says 1500k, then type in 3000k). close the window. open the program and try the function again.
