TICKET ARCHIVE -> Un Abale to Read Ilife05.dmg File

Hello.
I've burned with Nero in my PC a .dmg file downloaded from the net.
I've burned it on a DVD media and then inserted the disk into my powerbook G3 Pismo. Ive just finish installing OSX on it also from a DVD (.iso) file and it went smooth. I know my system can read .dmg file because I've had already a cd with a .dmg file and the system read it and installed the software that was on it.
When I insert the iLIFE.dmg DVD the system loads it and recognize it, but when i click on the iLife05.dmg file I get this massage:
"The Following Disk Images Failed To Mount:iLife 05 install DVD.dmg -> Reason:Not recognized"

Mac files are composed of two parts:
* a data fork, which contain all the data of the application
* a ressource fork, which gives information to mac OS how to handle the file

perhaps has the download .dmg lost one of these forks.

But the answer is easy to find:
In Applications/Utilities, launch DiskUtility
Use File/Open a disk image and browse to the .dmg file you've put on the Desktop
Are you able to select it ? yes, open it.
If no, the dmg has problem.

Another question
Within Nero, do you create a DVD compatible for Mac-PC or only for PC ?

The file seems to be bad.
About Nero and DVD's, where do I find the option telling Nero that the Dvd to be burned is for Mac?

Nero 6
New compilation
ISO tab
Joliet must be checked; ISO pop-up menu muste be set to 'Level 2'
I think this is the default for Nero 6.x
This ISO level 2 is not valid for burning PC CD for WIN 3.x
