TICKET ARCHIVE -> Unable to download anything

My computer has decided not to download anything. Everytime I try to download I get this error message :
DapPlugiin is unable to find Download Accelerator Plus application... Make sure to launch DAP to complete installation.. Did I delete something? Where can I get download accelerato plus if I cant download it?

Hey there Joe... wel it definately seems like theres a problem with your DAP plugin... dont know how it got that way but you can initiate a download of the latest version (Download Accelerator Plus 2.1) using this link:

You will need Stuffit Expander to unzzip this file. If you dont already have it you can download it free from this link (you will need to enter Name, Company (If applicable) and a valid e-mail address to download):

Ok but I cannot download any of that stuff. Is there any other way to get that file?

Also since the DAP is an addition you may want to delete or uninstall it form your PC completely and see if that allows you to download using safari...

If this problem also occured out of the blue i would definately go to applications-> Utilities -> disk utility and "Repair disk Permissions" for the mac hard drive... then reboot and see what happens...

What you can also try going is searching for the DAP file (In this link its DAP2.1.sitx) and re-instaling it from the original download file. I do not know which version you have but try using finder and search for DAP and see wat you get. Just repair disk permissions and then try re-installing from the files already on your mac.

If not search for DAP and remove ONLY the files associated with Download Accelerator Plus. You could then reset safari by clicking "safari" (next to file)... then Reset Safari and confirm. Then try downloading again.

Those are my suggestions at this point as your problem could be being cause by bad permissions, a browser problem, a DAP problem or just the plugin.. so try my suggestions and see what you come up with. If not we can take it from there.

(Have you tried using another browser to download the files??? Firefox/Internet explorer if you have any of them already on your pc and see if they work too.. that way you could download the new version of DAP and re-install from the link I gave you.)

Hrmm that may be an interesting sign.... i would definately quit all applications and try running it again (after a re-boot)... and run your virus software...

If your comcast e-mail does not have a msn passport then it would be great if you can give me a hotmail account so i cna send you the files
