I need to find out if there is a third party driver for a Canon 4150. Much to my chagrin, after contacting Canon, they advised me that there is no such animal in their downloads. In other words, the scanner function of the product does not work in Mac. Any ideas?

VueScan may be exactly the thing you're looking for!

Let me know if it works for you.

If not, sometimes Photoshop can access scanners as long as there's a TWAIN driver for it (Photoshop/File Menu/TWAIN).

Let me know either way.

I suddenly realized that I can use the Windows side of my MacBook to make this work. If this does not prove to be convenient, I will try your solution. Thanks a million for the fast response and help!
