DESCRIPTION:

The internet logon/password box pops up on my screen when I'm working or playing a game. I use IE4 and Outlook Express as well as Netscape 4.06. I'm running Windows 95 with some upgrades downloaded from MS. I called a technical service, which said someone was probably running a netbus on me, but Netbuster said not.

If it is the Dial-Up Logon and Password box - disable automatic connect in Control Panel/Internet/Connection - something is triggering your system to think it needs to dial. As some games today are modem ready - it could be a game that is causing this - although unlikely. If this is happening while you are using email offline - a setting in that program is likely the culprit. Hope this gives you a direction...

If so -or not - please email me back....
