If that doesn't work, the only alternative is to either Archive & Install;

http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/archiveinstall.html

Or reformat the drive and reinstall the system and your software.

i cant buy any software now..low on funds..i need a way to uni nstall quicktime manually..is there?

The only way manually is with Apple's reinstallers, which aren't working on the version you have.

Quicktime is integrated in the system, that's why the only way is if Apple releases an uninstaller, otherwise, reformat or Archive & Install.

Don't you have your 10.3 discs?

There's no way without reinstalling the system. Quicktime is integrated into the system too much, that's why Apple provider reinstallers for some versions.

Don't know why. Guess Apple hasn't recived enough complaints for them to write that version of uninstaller.
