I run an IMac at home with 10.3.9 nstalled. When I do an "About This Mac, System Info" it shows as a Power PC 750. It's a 600mhz Machine with a 40 G Hard Rrive, and I had 1 G of Memory installed.
My question is ... Is this Machine Capable of moving to Tiger 10.4 ???
Thanks,
Lou B

Bob, Thank You for the Quick Reply.
Now onto my 2nd question .....
I have a Small Network at Home.
One IMac now running 10.4.0 and a PC Laptop running XP. I have a D-Link (DP-301U) Print Server connected to a Cannon I860 Printer in between the both systems.

Up until last night when I upgraded to Mac 10.4.0, I was able to print from both systems.
Now I can only print from the Laptop, I seem to have lost the ability from the Mac. The MAC had no problem printing when it was running 10.3.9
I was wondering if you have heard of any Network printing issues with 10.4.0, tonight I will be using the Apple Software Update to go to 10.4.4 and also upgrade JAVA.
I HAVE NOT TRIED TO ADD THE PRINTER IN PRINTER UTILITIES YET, I am wondering if that maybe the problem. I assummed that the printer would be recognized after the upgrade.
I am at work now, so I can't try anything you suggest until tonight when I get home.
Thanks,
Lou B
Lou
I would try deleting the printer then re adding it and see if it works.
If not, please post this as a new question.
