Hello,

I'm one of those new Mac switchers people are talking about. I just bought my first iMac for the home after using and building PCs for years.

I'm looking for common software or a particular method for encrypting data on my portable 1GB USB drive that can be used on both my iMac at home and my WinXP PC laptop for work.

I've done many searches on the Internet looking for some writeup, but have been unable to find the 'bread crumbs' I need to move forward.

I would prefer that this be a free or low cost solution, but any solution is better than none at all.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Dear Chuck,

My name is Vinko and I will attempt to assist you.

Lexar makes a USB FLASH drive called, "JumpDrive Secure II" that comes with encryption software for both Windows XP and Mac OS X.

I hope this helps.
