I have a macbook running OSX 10.5
and I am not able to see the USB HD.
The problem started today when some wireless keyboard update stopped and restarted the mac.
Iam not able to connect the keyboard through BT

Download and install the OS X 10.5.3 combined updater.
http://www.apple.com/support/downloa...mboupdate.html
Doing that reinstallation will sometimes fix odd glitches that show up after a minor update.

If you still can't see USB devices (and BlueTooth is also a USB device internally), then try resetting your PRAM: Restart your MacBook, while holding Option-Command-P and R keys. You will hear the startup chime. Keep holding those same 4 keys until you hear the chime 2 more times, then release the keys and let your Mac start normally.
You may also try a power-manager reset. Shut off your MacBook, unplug the power adapter, and anything else that is attached. Remove your main battery. Press the power button, and hold for 5 seconds. Release, and plug in power, and reinstall your battery. Try your Macbook.
One of these will have fixed your problem. If not, you will need to take it in for service.
Let me know how it goes...

hi
thank you I did it, the HD looks to be the problem as I attached a different one to the mac book and works fine.
As for the keyboard , I spoke with the technician that sold to me the KB and tomorrow will go to the workshop I was told that it will fix it for me.
I will keep you informed about it.
