TICKET ARCHIVE -> Using Ichat 3.0.1 (v392) to Chat to Msn Contacts

Hello,
I work at a university and am having trouble logging into Microsoft messenger to talk to my contacts and was wondering if it is possible to use ichat to talk to MSN contacts.
I have OS X 10.4.2.
Not sure what other info you need...
Please help!

Hi Hels

iChat isn't compatible with MSN.
There are several programs available you can use. Fire is one and free;

Currently Fire handles AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, MSN Messenger, Jabber, Yahoo! Pager, and IRC communciation.
