Description:
I received a photo in bitmap(bmp) format which I am unable to view on either IE 4.0 or Netscape 3.0. I can Drag & Drop . jpeg images to Naveigator and they open fine, but no go with .bmp.
Can you suggest a solution?
( I have no luck opening photos in any format in IE 4.0-is there a way??)
Thanks, R. West

Hi Robert and welcome to No Wonder

.bmp files are Windows Bitmap images.
To open them you need a graphics utility which recognises the format.

The best utility is GraphicConverter which can recognise over 80 different formats.
