I have Office for Mac installes and use Microsoft Messenger to chat with friends abroad. When they invite me to an audio conference, they receive a message saying that I ´have an outdated version that doesn´t support this feature. I updated it to the latest version and it is not working. Is there any way for me to use video/audio conference features with MSN users maybe though another software?

Hi there,
I have wondered about this myself. There are third party MSN messenger clients such as aMSN version .95b and Mercury Messenger that allow one to do video, though not audio yet.
The other solution is to get them to use AIM. An AIM user can connect to iChat users and do voice and video. Another possibility is to use skype or Gizmo for audio. Both are cross platrom and offer excellent audio quality.
Finally, Yahoo messenger offers video for the Mac, but frankly, it is about 2.5 years old and seems unsupported.
Hope this helps, have a good holiday season,
Dave
