Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.

I was doing it in order to see if there is any problem with my burner as it did not burn the dvd-r's (created another ticket for that.)

Hi amoleji

The error - "The underlying task reported failure on exit" is not a good thing usually.

Disk Utility won't be able to fix it.

You can get DiskWarrior;

http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/index.html

And keep your fingers crossed that it will be able to repair the drive, otherwise you'll need to reformat the drive.

If you wind up reformatting the drive, reinstall the system and before going any further, run Disk Utility again and see if you get the same error.

If you do, you have a failing drive.
