Hi,
I need to use a VPN connection to access my work server.
When I connect, it opens only in a small box and will not open in a full screen.
Would you please advise how I can get this program to open in a full screen. I have tried everything and asked many people.... without sucess.
Thanks, Kev

Dear Kevin,
My name is Vinko and I will attempt to assist you.
What application are you using to connect to your work VPN?
Note that there are many free VPN client. One of which that I use is "
Chicken of the VNC". In the case of Chicken of the VNC, the size of the target machine is set automatically depending on the size of the window of the computer you're connecting to.
I hope this helps.

Hi Vinko,
Thanks for your reply and help.
I have been connecting with Remote Desktop Connection. Under RDC, all I need to input is the following: vpn.sydneyexpress.com.au. I am then connected, however, it only appears in a small area of the screen and can not be enlarged.
With Chicken of the VNC (which I have downloaded now... thanks).. I tried to put that same VPN info in the host field, but it can not connect. Do you know what I am doing wrong?
Thanks, Kevin

Dear Kevin,
Thank you for your reply.
Sorry I am not familiar with Microsoft's "Remote Desktop Connection".
The reason that entering "vpn.sydneyexpress.com.au" in Chicken of the VNC may not work can be one or more of the following reasons.
There may be some reason that Chicken of the VNC cannot resolve the name of the domain, "vpn.sydneyexpress.com.au". Do you have its IP address?
Do you have Mac OS X's built-in Firewall enabled? This is done in the Sharing preferences' Firewall pane.
If you have the Mac OS X's built-in Firewall enabled, you will have to open the port for Windows RDC. The UDP port is 3389.
May I assume that you have to enter an User ID and Password to gain access to your Windows machine? This information may be entered incorrectly within Chicken of the VNC. But I am sure you've verified this.
I hope this helps.
