Hi there,
Up until now, I have been downloading movies from the internet as .avi files (usually about 700MB) and putting a bunch of them on a DVD using the OSX burning software and watching them on my computer... recently I bought a proper DVD player that reads Burnt DVDs and VCDs ... but of course, I cannot view a specific .avi file from a DVD with 6 or 7 of them on it...
So now I have to somehow do it differently.
Any suggestions?
I was thinking that I may need a new burning software and to start making VCDs with any movie thats under 700MB and waste whole DVDs on single movies that are over 700MB so that they will work on the DVD player...
Is this so? or is there an easier and more economical/efficient way to go about this...
Thanks
Asaf
Assuming that you said a "proper DVD player" I think you mean a DVD player connected to your TV. If that's what you meant, here's an answer: DVD/VCD players cannot play AVI files. The easiest way to make them play on a "proper DVD player

" is to convert them to .mov files and drag those file to your movies folder. Then open up iDVD and click "Customize" then media, then movies and click and drag them into the iDVD window. The tricky part about this is converting AVI to MOV on a Mac. Download the program fro this URL:
