TICKET ARCHIVE -> webcam only working for certain apps

i recently bought the zic play talkcam pro messenger plus webcam for my mac osx. the webcam is working, but only for the webcam monitor and for yahoo messenger. when i want to use it for ichat it sais "no webcam connected" and for amsn it sais "you are firewalled or behind a router". i turned firewall off...
i am only 13 and not a computer pro so i would REALLY appreciate if you helped me!

iChat only works with Firewire cameras, but there is a plugin you can buy that makes it work with USB cameras.

You can try the demo and if it works for your camera, it's only $10 USD to buy. If your camera is advertised as working with OS X then the program should work, but if your camera is only supported on Windows then this program may work or it may not depending on their support of that model camera.
Anyways, its worth a try to see if it works or not.
