hi - i was unaware i had to definatley use the iSIGHT with iCHAT and i went and bought a logicam with has a usb cable(to save money)- the camera works fine on my iMAC G5 but i cant get it to work in iCHAT..apparentley i have to have a webcam that has a firwire cable attacthed to it to work effectively in iCHAT.Please can you confirm this and can you reccamend any usb to firewire convertors, what sort of price (UK POUND) and where i can get one from?

1) You do not require an iSight. Any camera with firewire output will work. I use a Hi8 analog camcoder and I feed the analog output into my Hollywood Dazzle unit. The Hollywood converts analog video to firewire video and visa versa.

2) There are a number of software packages that will possibly do the trick for you. Make sure to protect yourself by using a credit card, checking the warranty and checking for feedback on the internet.
