i'm trying to open an asf file on my powerbook g4 and found the windows media player for mac os X, however after I downloaded it I couldnt seem to open it. not sure where im going wrong...or if theres another program u can reccomend?

What you need is Stuffit Expander which will open the file.

When it asks what you'd like to open the file navigate to Stuffit (which is free). For some reason Apple stopped bundling Stuffit on their Macs.

You might also check VLC which is a multimedia player that really versatile and plays many different formats.
