There's a online radio which I can't listen to because the Windows MediaPlayer is needed. Since I have a Mac won't it be possible to listen to it or is there a way to download or even use a similar program instead?

The message I get is:

" The “Oi FM” webpage has MIME content “application/x-mplayer2”, and there isn't a plug-in installed for this kind of MIME.

Hello Gabriela

thanks for using macosx.com and I will do my best to advise and assist you...

In order to access the station you require you will need to download and install the Flip4Mac components which can be had free here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...omponents.mspx

I also recommend the installation of Perian free here http://perian.org/

This should fix the problem for you - I checked Oi FM and was able to get it playing without difficulty (well except no understanding a word on the site )

Hope that helps
