I am tryiing to connect my macbook to our windows network (running winows server 2003) at work and having no luck. Help?

I have a intel powered Macbook running Leapord and i am trying to connect to my server at work. We are running Windows server 2003. When i plug my Macbook into the LAN it automaticaly connects to the internet, i also have set up our IP printer and can print, however i can see the server nor share files. I'm not sure why, or what i need try next.

go to system prefs and make sure that the checkbox in shareing that says windows shareing is turened on and dito in win 2003 server at work. do that and get back to me.

where do i find "windows shareing" on my mac?

in system 10.4.11 its in shareing pref pane in system preferences 10.5 i am not sure cause i have not used it yet.

go to system prefs and under internet and network look for sharing there should be a list of checkbox items one of these should be windows sharing

I'm Sorry but i do not have a check box entitled "windows sharing" in my sharing folder in sys prefs...

it is sys prefs sharing and then services tab

the list is
personal file shareing
windows shareing
personal web sareing
remote login
ftp acess
aple remote desktop
reomte apple events
printer shareing
xgrid

When i click on it is sys prefs sharing and i do not have a services tab (i am running leopard)

i have a list and it look like this

personal file shareing
DVD or CD shareing
Screen shareing
File Shareing
printer shareing
web sharing
reomte apple events
remote login
remote management
remote apple events
xgrid Sharing
Internet sharing
bluetooth sharing
