Wireless Orange broadband (in the UK) is not working. I click on the Airport sign and it asks for the Livebox WEP. After entering it in a message comes up saying that access to the wireless is restricted to certain computers and this one is not on the list. The Orange customer service say that it has something to do with Mac configuration and do not offer any Mac support. The laptop does catch other unrestricted networks from time to time so I do not see what there is to change in terms of its configuration.
I see from this page
http://help.orange.co.uk/documentDisplay.do?clusterName=DefaultCluster&preview=1&groupId=1&page =http://ESERVER_fdec303b-d7e6-4030-a80c-b6f18d161a43.xhtml&docType=1006&resultType=5002&docProp=$solution_id&d ocPropValue=kb10915
that connection from Macs is not supported on the LIvebox.
The Livebox appears to support Windows only. so if you have an Intel Mac, you could install Windows, and you should then be able to connect.
Good luck! But I think you should choose a different ISP that is more friendly to Macs...

Hey thanks for the respone. I couldnt go on to your link as it didn't work when I clicked on it but I found another one link that I'm going to try. It's this one that tells me to start installation of livebox from scratch. My internet works when connected with the wire though but I will try re-installing it this way to see if it gets the wireless working.
