I was backing up my hard drive to another hard drive by simply copying the contents over and somehow all my Word documents got corrupted. Now when I try to open them I get a box that says

Convert File

Convert file from:
Text Only
MS-DOS Text
Rich Text Format (RTF)
HTML Document
Web Archive
Unicode text
Appleworks 5 & 6
Excel etc,
etc

Nothing works. All I get is unreadable garbage. I tried saving it as a .html webpage then back to a .doc document, but that didn't work at all.

Help!

UPDATE
After the unreadable garbage opens, I get a dialoge box that says:
"An unexpected error ocurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework library"
