OS 10.2.8

today I created a library for iphoto using the pictures I had on the computer I had previously transferred from my Kodak EasyShare DX6340 camer and easy share printer dock 6000. I had imported the pictures from camera earlier but now I can't transfer without the Kodak system crashing. Do you think it might have something to do with having 2 photo programs even though I am not trying to run at the same time.

Marcia,

I think you nailed it. I know iPhoto launches automatically when you attach a camera and the Kodak app probably does also. You can use Image Capture located in your Application Folder to select which application opens when you connect your camera. Just go to Preferences in Image Capture.

By the way I found this information in Mac Help.

Always run Permissions Repair before and
after installing software, check Help and
Apple Support and if in all else fails, Reboot.
