I am unable to install yahoo messenger 2.5.3. I use Tiger on a G4. Why?

Does the program install specify any errors? In my opinion, and many others, you may want to download a multi-chat program like Adium. You can access Yahoo messenger, and others through Adium. Moreover, the interface, and usability puts Yahoo messenger to shame.
