OS Version: System 7.5.3
Description:
Using (trying to) new Zip Drive 100-Trying to BU complete HD with DiskFit Direct. I start BU, it writes to "1.MAC HD BACK-UP" ejects that disk and presents a message box "Please insert the disk: 1.MAC HD BACK-Up." That is the first disk of 4 required and is full. When disk is reinserted, yellow lite on drive blinks couple of times, but above note box remains and computer has to be powered off & restarted. This happens consistently. Have never gotton beyond 1st zip disk. Have gone thru this procedure, instead inserting unnamed second empty zip disk, but same thing happens.
WILL VERY MUCH APPRECIATE HELP. THANKS FOR THE SERVICE. One other question, need web site for Danz software. AGAIN, THANKS

The Dantz Website is (www.dantz.com). Dantz has a product, sold only directly from them, called Retrospect Express. It is marketed as ideal for Zip and other removable drives. The cost to you should just be $49.00. Please let me know after you visit the Dantz web site whether you have decided to stick with Disk Fit Direct. If so, I will continue to assist you with the troubleshooting process.
