Can someone give me a solid answer to whether Adobe Acrobat is OSX native now (not Reader)... I just realised this maybe the only essential software that'll keep me having Classic on my machine (darn:( )

Sounds like all the downloads are opening with the wrong default application. IE: odf files opening in QuickTime instead of preview or Acrobat. This can be solved in a couple ways. 1) Right-click (or ctrl-click) on the file and choose the appropriate application 2) Click on the file once, get info using command+i and change the default application there. I have gotten myself into a bad situation! I am on an Intel Mac Book Pro, running 10.4.11 and CS3. I downloaded Linotype Font Explorer X 1.2.3. I got that going, everything was running pretty smoothly. Until I did a little reading, and was lead to believe it was a good idea to have Font Explorer manage everything, system fonts and all. Try changing the default opener to Reader or Acrobat Pro (whichever one you have) and see if the ?????'s get fixed. I never trust that file data anyway, but it's weird to have no numbers associated with the process. Have you repaired permissions yet?
