More Evidence for Slowness of X

So I get Illustrator 10 up and running in X, I'm very excited--native AI!! And then I try the new live distortion tools on a simple box. Holy lord of sloth is this thing slow. Dare I say, unusable. So I reboot to 9.2.1 and give it a go, thinking it'll still be pretty slow, much like Acrobat 5 is (Adobe should be shot for releasing that piece of junk to the Mac market)....

Will this work with 10.1 and 9?

Most new HP printers should work with MacOS 9 and MacOS X. You should be able to verify this from the HP web site. The print server may be a different story. I have an HP AppleTalk print server (not the wireless ones). It works on MacOS 9 but not on MacOS X. HP tech support told me that AppleTalk printing is in the works. I believe the release notes for their MacOS X...

OS X causing psuedo-memory trouble in OS 9/Classic

Ever since I installed OS X 10.1 a few of my classic programs won't function properly. Photoshop 6 is where I first noticed it. When I try to choose "File:Open" or "File:Save As..." it tells me that I don't have enough RAM. I can double-click PS documents or drag them onto Photoshop and they open, but no "File:Open". Nothing has changed except that I installed OS X 10.1...
