Address Book

Mail or Entourage 2004? I currently using Mail at work which was great but I'm now I sick of running three applications at once (Mail, Address Book, and iCal). I also have a large number of emails which I find difficult to deal with in mail. The advantage of the iApps is that I used iSync with .Mac and bluetooth (which I must keep). Im thinking of going to Entourage...

Had a few issues to sort out with business names in the contact list, but it works fine otherwise. Bluetooth is a cinch with it and the sms function from the Address Book is a bonus. ...

Go to the New Account > Directory Services preferences... Set up a directory service using the name of your Exchange server. To use this, open up the Directory Services window. Do a search, and then drag/drop the user to your new email TO field.

Something else I'd noticed while poking around for all of this... Our global address book doesn't seem to be working. At least, my address book only has me in it so I assume it's not working. ...

Yes, this is an issue with the sender sending the email as an Outlook Rich-text email. Basically, your friend will have to go into their Outlook or Outlook Express address book, find your address, bring up the properties on it, and uncheck "Send Outlook rich-text email". Then, on resending the email, it should be OK. We see this error quite a lot at work.

Does anybody know of any software that can be used with a USB cable to sync the Address Book info on a Mac (running OS X) with a Motorola v400? If not, is there any type of software available for doing any kind of interaction with this phone on OS X?

You could copy the files from the old then transfer them to the new. You can connect the two machines via ethernet and have file sharing turned on on both machines. Address Book has files in Home>Library>Application Support Mail has files in Home>Library>Mail Safari has files in Home>Library>Safari

Why did you install Intego. You have a Firewall built into the system Seems like your problem is because of one of these; music addressbook contacts macpardelux Refromat and see if it runs ok after that. Then put your contacts in and restart and see how it runs. Then music, see how it is after that, then macpardelux. My guess is that one of those three...
