OK, Adium seems to be connecting with my Hotmail (oops, excuse me, "Windows Live Hotmail, ooooh fancy!) account now. I guess it took a while before they ironed out all the kinks. Whether the kinks were on Hotmail's part or Adium's part, I do not know. But it's working now.

I'm not having any problems with it so far, either on Adium or Pidgin. And yes, the Windows Live Hotmail is much slower because of all the "web 2. ...

Thanks for the reply! EDIT: Ok I did what u told me to, and after a restart and then a shutdown and restart it still load slow! the right side of toolbar! Currently the only aps I have installed are firefox, adium, and growl! Along with the pre-installed ones! Could any of my new apps be causing the slow down, even though they didn't in the beginning!

As you can see the old site sits better in the browser... i have a skype and adium on either side of my browsers most of the time, the new site is too large to allow that... ...

Why do I get extremely slow file transfer speeds with MSN (including other programs like Adium or Amsn)? The speeds are VERY fast with iChat, and when I use messenger on Windows it's fast as well. Then why's it slow on the mac? Thanks

Well I'm trying it, not to bad, not the best, need to test out the file transfer but anyhow. It took a bit to startup as it does a lot of configurations, so who knows what it's done. But once it's done and starts up it found 2 packages to be updated, you'd think they would of been with the initial install seen that I only just downloaded it. But they were small and quick...
