Here's what Adless AIM looks like. Much better than Adium or anything else IMHO, and I get all the official aim goodies such as proper screen names, buddy icons, file transfer, etc etc etc. ...

I love this thing. AIM looks very clean now... granted, it's no Adium in terms of minimalism, but Adium also lacks basic features like buddy icons, reading away messages, buddy actions, file transfer, etc... ...

may be nicer than proteus (difficult) but BETTER? where is ICQ support? MSN support? proteus rocks, fire too (although proteus definitely rocks better). adium is AIM without the weight plus nicer. that's not enough for ICQ people.
